NEW YORK, NY - Lunar Sports has secured the services of Olympic Gold Medal winning gymnast Shannon Miller, as the featured speaker at the 9th Annual Women’s Health & Fitness Expo in Kingston, New York on Saturday May 2, 2009. Miller, a seven time Olympic Medalist and nine time World Medalist remains The Most Decorated American Gymnast, male or female, in history, having won more Olympic and World Championship Medals than any other US gymnast. Shannon remains a passionate advocate for health and wellness including taking proactive measures to ensure a healthy and balanced lifestyle. She began the Shannon Miller Foundation which is dedicated to fighting childhood obesity and was appointed Co-Chair of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness (2007) and the board of the Florida Sports Foundation (2008) by Florida Governor Charlie Crist. The Women’s Health & Fitness Expo is honored to have Shannon Miller as one of their featured guests! The 9th Annual Women’s Health and Fitness Expo is set to be held May 2, 2009 at the Kingston Tech Center in Kingston, NY.
